Appomattox River Interpretive Guide

The Appomattox River is one of Hopewell’s greatest natural resources.  The river provides opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, birding and much more!  There are several public access points in the City of Hopewell, including Appomattox Manor, City Park, the Hopewell City Marina, and Weston Manor.  There are additional access points and places of interest along the river in Prince George, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Petersburg and Dinwiddie.  The interpretive guide below lists public access and points of interest along the river.
