The “B” Village Neighborhood Plan has been completed. The City of Hopewell Department of Development and K.W. Poore and Associates will introduce the plan to City residents on Thursday, November 29, 2007, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Hopewell Community Center located at 100 West City Point Road. Residents are welcome to view conceptual drawings and envision the concepts for redevelopment and conservation in the one of the oldest subdivisions in the City. Light refreshments will be served.
The final plan is the product of meetings with citizens, focus groups, City officials and developers. The plan offers recommendations and strategies for improving the “B” Village Neighborhood by better utilization of the land, removal of blight, improved relationships between land uses, and improving housing conditions and options in the “B” Village Neighborhood.
