Appomattox River Trailhead at City Park
Located
off of Appomattox Street across from the new Library. Trails, benches,
fishing, a walking bridge crossing and a wonderful view of the
Appomattox River.

Arlington
A Neighborhood Park, located at 2700 Courthouse Road, with large
swings, tot swings, slide, basketball courts, Multi-play structure,
picnic shelter, blacktop area, picnic tables, monkey bars/dome, BBQ
grill, open play area.

Atwater
A Community Park, located at River & Atwater, with large swings,
tot swings, slides, picnic shelter, picnic tables, monkey bars/dome,
BBQ grill open play area, restrooms and parking.

Atwater Soccer Complex
Located at River and Atwater Rd, with soccer field and off street
parking. A 25 acres of land adjacent to the Atwater Park.

Carter G Woodson Basketball Courts
It’s almost that time of the year when basketballs will be bouncing all over the city. The City of Hopewell, Department of Recreation and Parks has four lighted basketball courts that kids of all ages could play pick–up games, 3 on 3 tournaments, or just shoot a round. The courts are open to the public after school hours until 10:00pm everyday. These courts are located beside Carter G Woodson Middle School on Winston Churchill Drive.

City Point
A Neighborhood Park, located at Allen & Burnside, with large
swings, tot swings slide, tennis courts, multi-play structure, tire
swing, water fountain, blacktop area, picnic tables, monkey bars/dome,
BBQ grill, open play area.

Community Center
Includes an indoor pool, racquetball courts, meeting room, gym, exercise
room, etc., located at 100 W. City Point Road with basketball courts,
tennis courts, water fountain, picnic tables, horseshoes, restrooms and
parking.

Crystal Lake
A new and beautiful facility located at 3600 River Rd, with fishing pond, trails and fountains, picnic shelter, picnic tables, BBQ grill, open play area, pavilion, restrooms and parking. For reservation call the Recreation & Parks at 541-2353.
Rental Fees - $20.00 refundable deposit will be assessed with each park rental in addition to the fees listed

Covered Slips (monthly): $175.00
Open Slips (monthly): $135.00
Fishing tournaments will be held during the year at the Marina.
The Marina offers ramps all year long. We offer two pump out stations on site. Drinks are for sale as well. Contact our Marina Operators at 541-2353 for further information. |
