Hopewell City Youth Commission Hosts a Community Celebration

Hopewell, VA.  The City of Hopewell Office on Youth and Youth Services Commission will host a youth services community celebration on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.  The event will take place at Atwater Park off River Road.  In the event of inclement weather the event will be moved to the Hopewell Community Center.

 

The purpose of this event is to inform parents and students regarding the mission and purpose of the Office on Youth and to jumpstart future events and to advise youths of various programs and activities relative to youth.   The Youth Commission in concert with City Administration have partnered with the Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) bus company to provide FREE transportation to and from the event. The bus schedule are as follows:

 

  • First Stop-Stay Over Suites Hotel (Gazebo)
  • Second Stop-Piper Square Apartments (Bus stop)
  • Third Stop-Wesley United Methodist Church (Front/First Parking Lot)
  • The Summit Apartments (Langston Park) (Bus Stop)
  • Fifth Stop-Hopewell Community Center (Parking Lot)
  • Sixth Stop-Davisville Bland Court Apartments (Bus Stop)
  • Seventh Stop-Thomas Rolfe Community Building
  • Eighth Stop- DuPont Elementary School (Front/First Parking Lot)
  • Ninth Stop-Hopewell High School (Front/First Parking Lot)
  • Last Stop-Atwater Park
