H2O WATER RENEWAL (HRWTF) COMMISSION

The eight (8)-member Commission is appointed by the City Council. The Commission includes a member of City Council, the City Manager, the City Attorney, and representatives of the five (5) industrial members. The terms of office are for a two (2)-year period. The Regional Commission is a partnership of cooperation between the local government and the City’s industrial base to oversee the environmental mission of the Hopewell H2O Water Renewal Commission. It has authority and responsibility with respect to the operation, maintenance and improvement of the facility. The Commission approves the annual budget and all major capital expenditures. Meeting Time and Place: Quarterly, Third Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Facility’s Conference Room, 231 Hummel Ross Road, Hopewell, VA. Staffed by the Regional Wastewater Facility.
