AF_BANDUnited States Air Force Heritage of America Band Concert

For all ages. The Air Force Heritage of America band is excited to announce their FREE Independence Day community concert at Hopewell High School in collaboration with Hopewell Recreation and Parks and Hopewell Public Schools. This free concert will feature the world’s finest active duty musicians as we kick start our patriotic weekend. Seating is limited! Doors will open at 6:30 pm.

For all ages. Hopewell Recreation and Parks will host its annual spectacular fireworks display in celebration of the Fourth of July! Be sure to text the word HRPFireworks to 84483 to receive text message notifications on the event and updates on weather situations (standard messaging rates may apply). Fireworks will be detonated from a barge on the Appomattox River between City Point and the Hopewell City Marina. Viewing will be available at John Randolph Medical Center. Parking is limited. Movie Night in the Park

For all ages. Bring the whole family and enjoy an outdoor movie under the stars! Blankets and chairs are recommended. Free popcorn will be provided (while supplies last). Additional concessions will be available for purchase. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
