Hopewell Recreation and Parks sponsors a variety of special events throughout the year. Generally, special events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. Please check out all of our upcoming events below for additional information.

Upcoming Events

Kids to Parks Day    Flyer

For all ages: Hopewell Recreation and Parks and the Hopewell Office on Youth will come together to host this very special event just for kids. Sponsored by the National Park Trust, Kids to Parks Day is a celebration of kids being active and getting outdoors in their local parks. This fun day will feature a variety of activities including games, moon bounce, music and much more!

  • Saturday, May 19, NOON – 3PM
  • Due to the weather we are moving our Kids to Parks day to Hopewell High School. Free.

Kiddie Clubhouse

For ages 2-5. Join us for unstructured child-directed play! Throughout the series we will enjoy story-time, play-time, snacks, outdoor play, and socialization. Parents are required to stay and will assist with some activities. Equipment will be provided.

Movie Night in the Park

For all ages. Bring the whole family and enjoy an outdoor movie under the stars! Blankets and chairs are recommended. Free popcorn will be provided (while supplies last). Additional concessions will be available for purchase. Children should be accompanied by an adult.
