Instructional Divisions
These age divisions are designed to teach the basics of soccer. Participants will learn fundamental skills like passing, trapping, shooting, and positioning. Coaches will focus on the principles of teamwork, sportsmanship, and following instructions. Each player will need a pair of soccer cleats with plastic studs, shin guards sized for the player's height, and a pair of predominantly black shorts. Jerseys and socks will be provided. Instructional divisions do not focus on formal competition. Parents are required to remain at the field for all practices and games.
Registration
Once registration closes, teams will be fielded and coaches will contact players. Please allow two weeks after the close of registration to be contacted by your coach.
Competitive Divisions
These age divisions are designed build on fundamentals already learned while further developing individual skill level in a competitive environment. Coaches will focus on the principles of teamwork, sportsmanship, and following instructions. Each player will need a pair of soccer cleats with plastic studs, shin guards sized for the player's height, and a pair of predominantly black shorts. Jerseys and socks will be provided. Competitive divisions may include travel to neighboring localities for formal matches with Prince George, Colonial Heights, and Dinwiddie. Parents are required to remain at the field for all practices and games.
