Tavorise K. Marks is the owner of Tavorise K. Marks State Farm in Hopewell. Tavorise is a United States Army Veteran with over 15 years of honorable service (Military Police & Military Intelligence), and over 8 years of service in various leadership roles in state and federal government. He is also known for his active community service here in Central, Virginia.
Tavorise is an Alumni of the Norfolk State University, the University of Virginia, the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and the University of Richmond respectively. He earned a Masters degree in Urban Affairs and Public Administration, a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Sociology, and a Professional Certificate in Paralegal Studies – Contract Law. Tavorise is a licensed Insurance Agent in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Mr. Marks also served three (3) years on the Hopewell Police Chief Advisory Committee.
