Hopewell Shiloh Lodge – Public Input Survey

Shiloh Lodge / City Point House
601 Prince Henry Avenue

The City of Hopewell purchased the property known as the Shiloh Lodge in 2019 to preserve this iconic structure located in the City Point Historic District. The structure dates to the early 1800s and served as the Shiloh Lodge since the 1870s. Since the acquisition, the city’s Historic Preservation Committee has sponsored an archaeological dig at the site, an architectural assessment by a renowned architectural historian, and in-depth research on the building and site that is uncovering some interesting facts! Although the city’s current efforts are focused on revealing the past, we need to start thinking about how the Shiloh Lodge property will live on into the future…

We would like your input on how the Shiloh Lodge can best memorialize its history and survive into the future as an asset to City Point and Hopewell. You can provide your input by taking a short survey.
