Katina Moss, YSC Chair
As a Youth Development Expert, Young Adult Career Advocate, Micro & Small Business Cheerleader, and Community Education Enthusiast; Katina Moss is Principal at K. Moss & Associates, LLC, the home of Mark-It Masterpiece Personal & Business Development Plans: Strategies that Empower You to Create and Live the Masterpiece Life You Imagine.
Prior to her work as an independent entrepreneur and community educator; for 10 years, K. Moss was a Business & IT instructor at Hopewell High School. During this time, Katina served as an FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) advisor and founding faculty advisor for the Hopewell High Interact Club, the youth level of Rotary International. Currently, Katina is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Hopewell, a supporter of the Hopewell Downtown Partnership, and Chairman of the Hopewell Youth Services Commission. In addition to proprietary endeavors, professionally Moss serves as a college access counselor with Project Discovery, a post-secondary access program operated in the Tri-Cities through the Capital Area Partnership Uplifting People (CAPUP).
In Southside, Virginia; Katina is a managing partner at the Inspiration Center (formerly Meljo’s), an event
space and community empowerment partner in Brunswick County. K. Moss is a member and minister at Greenwood Baptist Church in Ashland, Virginia. Most importantly, Katina is the proud mother of her favorite young adult, Ronni Moss, a Hopewell High School graduate, bank customer service professional,
and freelance floral designer.
Moss was educated in Henrico County Public Schools where she graduated from Hermitage High School. After which, she matriculated to the University of Richmond where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the E. Claiborne Robins School of Business. From graduate studies, Katina has a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science degree in Education Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University.
Katina wants the world to know that one of her greatest joys is seeing Hopewell youth connect with their inner greatness and decide to be amazing!
