Hopewell Restaurant robbed – Police seek information to identify offender

[Hopewell, VA] – On Thursday, October 17, 2019 at approximately 6:50 PM, officers responded to Traditionz Express Restaurant located at 323 Cavalier Square for a robbery that had just occurred. The preliminary investigation revealed the lone offender entered the business, produced a note demanding money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of currency, the offender fled the business on foot. No individuals were harmed during the incident.

The offender is described as light complexed B/M, early to mid-20‘s years of age, 5’10” tall, 180 pounds, with a slit in his eyebrow and possibly tattoo or mole under his left eye. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, long sleeve hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head, baseball cap, yellow construction style safety vest with reflective stripes and gray gloves.
