Tonight’s Third Thursday’s Open Air Marketplace Event Moved Indoors!

Hopewell, VA – The Hopewell Downtown Partnership has decided to move forward with their originally scheduled Third Thursday Marketplace, but in a condensed version due to possible inclement weather. Most of tonight’s activities will take place around Guncotton Coffee located at 238 E Broadway Avenue Hopewell, VA 23860.  The Donnie Barber Project will take the stage and food trucks and local adult beverages will still be available. We will still have a few vendors at the event selling their products. The HDP encourages you to come out to celebrate the first day of summer, and participate in their Third Thursdays Open Air Marketplace!

About the Hopewell Downtown Partnership(HDP)

The HDP is a 501(c)(3) that was formed in 2007 after the flight of businesses and deterioration of the Downtown began to threaten the integrity of its historical structures and cultural relevance to the city and the surrounding areas. The HDP is on a mission to reverse this trend through implementing the Main Street Four Point Approach, a nationally trademarked model for revitalizing historic downtown districts and one of the most successful economic development models in the country. To help the Hopewell Downtown Partnership continue to make a difference downtown, please consider making a tax deductible donation today. Please visit to donate or sponsor today.
