Diane Varner

Diane Varner moved to Dinwiddie, Virginia in 2015. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Diane graduated from Holy Family University in 2006 with a master’s degree in Family and Marriage Counseling. During that time, she moved to Albany, NY where she provided counseling for children dealing with abuse and domestic violence issues. After that Diane became the program director for a large food pantry. In 2008 she took a position with the New York Council of Nonprofits- a NYS Association. She traveled throughout NYS providing board trainings, program development and contract management. Diane’s specialty was time and effort recoupment and training. In 2013, Diane moved to Pittsfield MA and worked as a contract grant writer. Diane’s husband is from Waynesboro, VA and they moved to Virginia to be closer to family. In 2018, Diane became the Executive Director of Hopewell/Prince George Healthy Families where she remains today.
