Jean Thomasson

Jean Thomasson

My name is Jean Harrison-Thomasson. I have over 24 years of public service; primarily, Social Services along with a police training facility, mental health services and collegiate experience. In 1990, I received a certificate in private investigation and prior to that, an Associate’s Degree in June of 1978, both through S.V.C.C.

As a mother of two grown daughters, and a grandmother of two lively grandsons, I would like to see our children be able to thrive in a nurturing environment without fears. Therefore, I made it my personal mission to help foster a rapport between law enforcement and our community in hopes of creating a positive, safe, and trustworthy environment for all. Someone once said, “You can choose to be part of the problem, or the solution,” I chose the latter.
