The Administrative Services Division has responsibility for these tasks:
911/Communications Center – Answers all emergency and non-emergency calls for service for the City of Hopewell. They dispatch Police, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and Animal Control to citizen calls for service and assistance.
Records Management – Services include incident, accident, summons, and parking ticket entry into the police database; distribution of criminal and traffic summons and subpoenas; Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Subpoena Duces Tecum requests response; maintenance of historical police documents; local background checks; taxi cab permits and solicitors’ permits management; local Sex Offender registration.
Fiscal Management – Services include budget management, grant management, purchasing and expenditure reconciliation, and payroll for the department.
