[Hopewell, VA] – The Hopewell Police Department is actively investigating and requesting the public’s
assistance in helping locate a missing person. On March 22, 2018, workers at a day center in the 400
block of E. Broadway reported last seeing Ms. Gwendolyn Gerlach. Ms. Gerlach is known to frequent the
cities of Richmond, Petersburg, and Hopewell. Ms. Gerlach does suffer from dementia and it is believed
that she is not in possession of her prescribed medications.

At this time the Hopewell Police Department does not suspect foul play but are seeking assistance in
locating Ms. Gerlach and bringing her home safely.

Ms. Gwendolyn Gerlach is described as a B/F, 69 YOA, 5’4”, 100 pounds with brown eyes and black and
gray hair.
